Damian Priest Doesn’t Feel Like He’s Done With The Judgment Day After WWE Bad Blood

Damian Priest beat Finn Balor at WWE Bad Blood. However, he doesn’t think he’s done with the Judgment Day yet.

Priest finally got his hands on Balor at WWE Bad Blood, and he scored the win. The Judgment Day interfered, but Priest persevered nonetheless.

Speaking at the WWE Bad Blood Post-Show Press Conference, Damian Priest was asked whether he was done with the Judgment Day. He was also asked if he would be targeting the world title going forward. Priest noted that he did not think he was done with them. But he also expressed his interest in the world title.

“That’s something I gotta think about,” Damian Priest said. “Obviously, today, it felt good to get that win, beat the man that I said was gonna regret everything he did. I feel like I accomplished that. Am I done with the Judgment Day? I don’t think so. But who doesn’t want to be the champion? So that’s something I’m gonna have to think about. It’s something I’m gonna have to consider, and I have off tomorrow. So that’s what I’ll be considering. Come Monday, you’ll probably get my answer.”

Damian Priest On Targeting The World Title

TJ Legacy of Soapbox Nation Run The Ropes then asked Priest whether his win over Finn Balor put him in the hunt for another world title run. He highlighted how he felt like he should be in contention. But Priest also reiterated that he did not think he was done with the Judgment Day yet.

“Of course,” Damian Priest said. “I feel like Finn Balor, say what you will, he’s still a big-time player in this business. So beating him and knowing that I didn’t even get my rematch, knowing that I got screwed out of the title, yeah, I feel like I should be in contention. I should be right there in the front. So I am paying attention, I am watching closely to not just that championship, all of them because this is what we do. If you’re in this business, you want to be the guy, you want to be the champion, or else there’s no point.

“So these are things that, again, I’m thinking about. But especially with the way things went down with Rhea tonight, I just feel like the Judgment Day hasn’t learned their lesson yet. So I gotta think about this. Once the Judgment Day, that I feel comfortable that I can focus on the title and not have them in the back of my mind, that’s when I’ll feel like it’s the right time. So again, we’ll see what happens Monday. I’ll think about it this weekend. Monday, we’ll probably have a clear direction of where I’m going.”
