Triple H made a major announcement at WWE Bad Blood.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H came to the ring at the premium live event on October 5 and hyped up the show. He turned his attention to WWE Crown Jewel and said that it would be the beginning of a new era. Triple H stated that a new annual event would begin, as the WWE Champion would face the World Champion in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
Triple H announced that the titles would not be on the line, but the winners would be crowned WWE Crown Jewel Champion. He unveiled the titles and said that the winner would be the best of the best.
Gunther currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship. He will defend the title against Sami Zayn on the October 7 episode of WWE RAW. Cody Rhodes is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.
Nia Jax retained the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE Bad Blood. Liv Morgan will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at the show.
