CM Punk and Drew McIntyre waged war at WWE Bad Blood.
The bitter rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre culminated at WWE Bad Blood, as they waged war in a Hell in a Cell match. The bout marked their third clash, as McIntyre beat Punk at WWE SummerSlam while Punk defeated Drew in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin.
McIntyre and Punk battled it out from the start. Punk drove a wrench into McIntyre’s face and choked him with the legs of a table. Punk was busted open after McIntyre launched him into a cell wall. McIntyre gouged a wrench into Punk’s wound. Punk rallied, but McIntyre caught him and suplexed him. Punk hit McIntyre with a toolbox, busting him open in the process.
A GTS sent McIntyre to the outside. McIntyre fired up with a Claymore for a near fall. Punk evaded another Claymore and locked McIntyre in a Sharpshooter. McIntyre hit Punk with a wrench to break the hold. He again gouged Punk’s wound with the wrench. McIntyre suplexed Punk through a table. Punk then hit the GTS for a near fall.
McIntyre fired up with a White Noise onto the steel steps for a two-count. Punk then countered a slam into the Anaconda Vise. He hit McIntyre with a wrench. McIntyre hit Punk below the belt, and he dumped beads like the ones from Punk’s beloved necklace all over him. Punk dodged a Claymore, and McIntyre landed on the steel steps. Punk then forced some of the beads into McIntyre’s mouth and hit him with a GTS while a chain was wrapped around his knee.
Doctors checked on both men after the match, and they gave Punk oxygen after he collapsed.
