Another title match has officially been announced for AEW WrestleDream.
Konosuke Takeshita interfered in the buzzworthy AEW International Championship match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. He laid out both men, so the match ended without a clear winner.
Tony Khan subsequently announced that all three competitors would clash at AEW WrestleDream, as Will Ospreay would defend the title against both Ricochet and Takeshita.
This will mark the second time that Ospreay and Takeshita will compete on a pay-per-view. When they clashed at AEW Revolution 2024, Ospreay emerged victorious.
