WWE NXT Averages Nearly 900,000 Viewers For CW Network Premiere

WWE NXT’s CW Network premiere drew nearly 900,000 viewers.

Wrestlenomics reports that Tuesday’s show averaged 895,000 viewers and a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. These numbers are up from last week, NXT’s final episode on USA Network, which drew 620,000 viewers and a 0.19 rating.

NXT faced major competition on October 1, as it was up against the CBS News Vice Presidential Debate.

WWE loaded up the card for Tuesday’s episode of NXT, as it was the CW Network premiere, and it was held at Allstate Arena.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Tuesday’s number was higher than any viewership NXT recorded on USA Network since October 2023.

Thurston also noted that, per a press release, NXT was the #1 telecast on CW in the demographic so far in 2024.

The October 1 episode of NXT kicked off with Shawn Michaels introducing new title belts, and he was joined by Triple H. In the opening match, Roxanne Perez defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia. The show was headlined by Trick Williams challenging Ethan Page for the NXT Championship in a match where CM Punk was the special referee.
