AEW CEO Tony Khan took to Twitter to hype up the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, which will be the special Five-Year Anniversary. He said that the show would have a significant overrun. Khan also teased that he “may have another announcement” by showtime on Wednesday.
AEW has been negotiating a new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, and an announcement has seemingly been imminent. Khan has repeatedly said that it’s safe to say that AEW was “here to stay” on TBS and TNT.
