Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes says he is still actively trying to bring the Winged Eagle Title back.
Rhodes has previously expressed his interest in doing so, long before he won the world title at WWE WrestleMania 40. Several months into his reign, some fans have been hoping for an update.
Speaking with Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Cody Rhodes was asked about his past comments regarding the Winged Eagle Title.
“I’m so glad you asked,” Cody Rhodes said. “Please know, anyone who heard me say the words ‘Winged Eagle Title’, I actively am still on the hunt. I am still on the mission, and if anything, I have shown in the past, even if it’s for a single night for fleeting, I try to be a man of my word, so I’m working on it.”

Rhodes is set to compete in a buzzworthy match at WWE Bad Blood. He and Roman Reigns are slated to face The Bloodline.
