Randy Orton asked Cody Rhodes to explain himself on WWE SmackDown.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ decision to team up with Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood has not been a popular decision with his allies. Kevin Owens has already hinted that he is not on board with it.
On the September 27 episode of WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton came to the ring and questioned Rhodes, as he noted that while he trusted the champion, something did not sit right with him. He called Rhodes out, asking his longtime friend to give him an explanation.
Rhodes came to the ring and responded by noting that he might look like a fool, but it was better to look like a fool than a coward. He noted that Reigns had not lied to him before, so he was going to take him at his word. Rhodes said that it was time to take down The Bloodline and told Orton that he hoped he would not have a problem with it. Orton fired back by saying it was not a problem unless Rhodes made it one.
Kevin Owens interrupted, but before he could say anything, The Bloodline joined the fray. Solo Sikoa said that Rhodes needed to team with Reigns because Randy Orton and Kevin Owens had let him down so far. Owens then challenged The Bloodline to a tag team match. Rhodes offered to make it a six-man bout, but Owens noted that Cody already had a tag team match to worry about. He specifically challenged The Bloodline to face him and Orton.
