Sol Ruca was revealed as Jordynne Grace’s surprise partner on TNA Impact this week.
In the build up to the show, the TNA Knockout was advertised to be teaming up with a surprise partner. This was for her match against NXT’s Wendy Choo and TNA’s Rosemary.
Fans were thrilled when another NXT star showed up, as Sol Ruca was revealed to be Jordynne Grace’s partner for the evening.
Arianne Grace announced the mystery partner and “one of my best friends” Sol Ruca before the match, as the crowd erupted into cheers.
The partnership was a surprising one. Sol Ruca actually answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge on NXT earlier this month. She failed to win the title, after being attacked by Rosemary and Wendy Choo, setting up this match for Impact this week.
This makeshift pair of former rivals gelled well. They seemed to have the match won, after Sol Ruco hit her imprresive “Sol Snatcher” on Rosemary. However, Tascha Steelz broke things up, attacking Grace and having the match thrown out.
Additionally, Russian star Masha Slamovic ran in to make the save for Sol Ruca and Jordynne Grace. It looks likely that this will set up a six-woman tag match in the future on TNA Impact.
