One of the fan-favorite stars in the world of professional wrestling is Joe Hendry. Hendry is popular not only in TNA Wrestling but also in WWE. On Thursday night’s episode of TNA iMPACT, The Global Hero got one step closer to calling himself a World Heavyweight Champion.
Frankie Kazarian and the Prestigious One Joe Hendry wrestled each other in a Number One Contender’s match for the TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. The current World Champion Nic Nemeth also joined the commentary team to have a front-row seat to the Number One Contender’s match.
During the match, there were moments when Kazarian almost stole the victory. But after a hard-fought battle, The Global Hero managed to get the win.
Now, Joe Hendry will challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
Bound For Glory will be taking place in Detroit, Michigan on October 26th. One more match that was announced at this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT, PCO will be defending his TNA Digital Media and International Wrestling Championships against the Indy God Matt Cardona.
