Hulk Hogan is at it again with yet another outrageous statement.
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was a recent guest on Rasslin’. When asked about how Bobby Heenan was as a wrestler compared to what most people know him as a manager, Hogan claimed that Heenan was a better wrestler than Bret Hart, Randy Savage, and Ricky Steamboat combined.
“He was better than Bret Hart, Macho Man, and Rick Steamboat combined,” Hulk Hogan said. “He was better in the ring than anybody I’ve ever seen.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
Hulk Hogan says he was going to be the next John Wayne
Earlier this year, Hogan told Stackscast that an executive at Paramount wanted him to be the next John Wayne, but he chose to remain in professional wrestling instead.
“There’s a guy named Bob Evans that ran Paramount, and he took me in his office,” Hogan said. “There was a big picture on a wall with Clint Eastwood and John Wayne and all the big stars, Dustin Hoffman and everybody that was part of the contract players for Paramount at the time. And he said, ‘You’re gonna be my next John Wayne.’ And then he kind of like laid out the schedule and what was expected of me on and off camera. I went, ‘Eh, I’m the wrong guy for that stuff.’ So I just decided to go back to wrestling.”
