A new report provides an update on MVP‘s contract status after he appeared at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
Former WWE star MVP made a surprise appearance on Wednesday and said that he wanted to talk business with Swerve Strickland. MVP had reportedly been in talks with the company in recent weeks.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that MVP has officially signed with AEW. The report also notes that Strickland was at least planned for an appearance at AEW WrestleDream.
Sapp previously reported that AEW was also in talks with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin alongside MJF. There is no word on their status with the company.
