After the September 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling taped matches for the September 28 episode of AEW Collision Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York City.

- TNT Championship: Jack Perry def. Minoru Suzuki, who answered Perry’s open challenge. After the match, Katsuyori Shibata saved Suzuki.
- Brody King def. Action Andretti. Top Flight saved Andretti after the match.
- Tornado Trios Match: The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith) def. The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Mark Briscoe)
- Saraya’s Rules Match: Jamie Hayter def. Saraya
- Lumberjack Strap Match: Hangman Page def. Jeff Jarrett
- AEW World Trios Championship: Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta (c) def. Komander & Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
- Hologram def. The Beast Mortos and Dralistico. After the match, Mortos and Dralistico kept brawling. RUSH came in and got them on the same page. They all attacked Hologram.
- MxM Collection had Max Caster’s jacket on a model, which was revealed to be Billy Gunn. Gunn and The Acclaimed cleared house.
- AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Kazuchika Okada def. Sammy Guevara
