Stone Cold Steve Austin Says He Doesn’t Believe In CTE

Stone Cold Steve Austin has a very controversial take on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, otherwise known as CTE.

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was featured on episode six of the Mr. McMahon documentary. While discussing the belief that the Chris Benoit murder-suicide could have been caused by CTE, Austin had a very interesting take on the situation.

“I worked for a long time. I got dropped on my head one time; I got concussed there,” Steve Austin said. “But other than that I can’t remember having too many concussions in the business of pro wrestling. And my take on that has always been if you were just wrestling and you got a bunch of concussions, you’re probably doing something wrong. I’m not a CTE guy, I just don’t believe in it.”
