John Cena Will Be One Of The Voices For Meta’s New AI Chatbot

Soon, wrestling fans will be able to talk with John Cena anytime they want to.

According to a new report from Reuters, Facebook owner Meta is planning to announce it has signed a deal with Cena to be one of the voices for its new Meta AI chatbot. Other actors, including Judi Dench and Kristen Bell, are also reportedly signed on to lend their voices.

Meta reportedly plans on making the announcement during its annual Connect conference, which is scheduled for Wednesday. The chatbot will allow users to choose a voice for Meta’s AI-powered digital assistant. The list of choices includes five celebrities and several other generic voice options.

Reuters cites a source that claims the actors’ voices will launch on Meta apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) in the United States and other English-speaking markets this week. In addition to the chatbot voices, Meta is also expected to reveal its augmented-reality glasses.

Meta/Facebook owner Mark Zuckerburg teased John Cena’s involvement last week when he posted a promotional video featuring the WWE legend, director Matthew Vaughn and Benson Boone while wearing a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

What’s next for John Cena?

John Cena looks to have a busy year ahead, as he has also reportedly agreed to star in Matchbox. This will be a live-action movie adaptation of the famed toy car line by Mattel. Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter reports that Cena will star while Sam Hargrave will direct the film for Apple Original Films.

Cena is also working on the second season of Peacemaker for Max. He gave Variety the “safest answer he could,” telling them that the change in leadership at DC led to some delays.

“We are in progress. That is the safest answer I can give without anybody knocking on my door and telling me I’m fired. Personally, I am very happy, so I hope that translates to everybody who is anticipating it.

Cena said DC’s James Gunn and Peter Safran called him and said they want to do things the right way. He added that they have a plan, and “if you just trust us, we’ll be okay.’”

If that was not enough, Cena is also set to embark on his farewell tour in WWE. Cena will have his official in-ring retirement in 2025, including matches at WrestleMania.
