NXT’s Nathan Frazer provides a status update on ‘Ben Carter.’
In 2020, Ben Carter quickly made a name for himself on the independent scene. He soon found himself getting invited to compete for AEW, facing off with the likes of Ricky Starks and Scorpio Sky. Carter disappeared from AEW TV, and it was later reported that visa issues prevented him from continuing to work in the United States.
Several months later, WWE announced Carter had signed and he was assigned to the NXT UK brand. However, ‘Ben Carter’ quietly disappeared from WWE programming in 2021. Carter was repackaged as Nathan Frazer in 2021, and he’s gone on to become a multi-time tag team champion and Heritage Cup winner in NXT.
The initial comment was likely in jest, but some viewers might not be aware that Carter and Frazer are the same. However, the NXT star is happy to set the record straight.
Where is Ben Carter?
A fan on Twitter recently asked, “Whatever happened to this guy?” about Carter, sharing a video of his work in AEW. Frazer commented and said ‘Ben Carter’ is doing just fine. Carter then highlighted some of his accolades in WWE.
- Went onto fulfil his lifelong dream of signing with WWE
- Spent valuable time with his family during a worldwide pandemic
- Won the Heritage Cup
- Became a 2x NXT Tag Team Champion and formed one of the best teams in recent memory
“He’s doing just fine,” Nathan Frazer wrote.
Frazer and Axiom are set to appear on the Grayson Waller Effect on the September 24 episode of NXT. “Fraxiom” will defend their titles against Waller and Austin Theory on the October 8 episode of NXT in St. Louis.
