A new report provides an update on the future of WWE NXT Level Up.
WrestleVotes Radio (via Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass) recently reported that NXT Level Up was set to be discontinued.
In an update, Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per NXT sources, the brand has “stacked matches” for future episodes. Brennan writes that no sources had heard of any plans to stop taping the show. One source said that it would be a mistake to do so. They said that Level Up helped give new talent TV experience before they moved to main NXT programming.
Brennan also writes that the November 5 taping of NXT had been canceled. He cites sources who said multiple factors could explain the change. They noted that the brand might be holding a double taping due to WWE’s trip to Saudi Arabia the weekend before. This is the approach that WWE typically takes with events in Saudi Arabia.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
