Otis Reunites With Tucker, Four Years After WWE Split

Otis has reunited with his former partner Tucker in a social media post.

The pair wrestled together for years in the WWE as “Heavy Machinery”. Starting in NXT in 2016, the pair teamed together as a wildly popular babyface tag team. This earned them a call-up to the main roster in January 2019.

Despite never winning the tag team championships together (in WWE or NXT), the pair remained a popular tag team. However, their relationship came to an end when Tucker turned on his friend, following him being drafted to Smackdown.

Tucker turned on Otis at Hell in a Cell 2020, helping The Miz win the Money in the Bank contract from him. This marked the end of their friendship in the WWE, and Tucker was released from the company less than a year later.

The pair hadn’t been seen together since. That is, until they reunited yesterday.

Otis posted a photo on his Twitter page, posing with Tucker. The pair can be seen inside some kind of gym, both wearing workout clothes.

The two photos show the pair with their arms around each other, and Otis kissing his former Heavy Machinery partner. The caption, which reads “2 HEARTS 1 SOUL” shows how close the friends are, even nearly four years since being separated.

Otis & Tucker Still Talked Everyday After Tucker’s Release

Otis and Tucker remained fast friends, even after the latter’s release from the WWE in April 2021.

In an interview with WrestleZone, Tucker revealed that the pair still had a “very deep friendship”. He noted that anything that happens in WWE cannot affect their relationship.

“We still talk every week,” he noted. “We have a very deep friendship and the things that happened inside of WWE cannot and will not ever have an effect on our relationship or our brotherhood. So, I think it was that kind of foundational level and understanding that we had with each other and we had a bond because of these things.”
