Orange Cassidy highlights the depth of AEW‘s women’s division.
Orange Cassidy recently spoke with Brandon F. Walker on Barstool Rasslin’. In one highlight, he said that he thinks AEW has the best women’s division ever assembled. He named Mercedes Moné and other stars. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com for the transcription)
“I also think AEW right now probably has the best women’s division ever assembled,” Cassidy said. “I feel very strongly about that. I mean, we’re talking Jamie Hayter just came back. We all know how great Jamie Hayter is. We have Mercedes (Moné) here, CEO, doing that dance that we all try to do, but we can’t do it as good as her.”
“And then you also have my former friend, who punched me in the face and stabbed me in the back, Kris Statlander. I think she’s a phenomenal professional wrestler. Willow…Then Anna Jay just went to Stardom and she’s going to come back, already from the stuff I’ve seen, she’s coming back stronger than ever.”
Tony Khan was present for the interview, and he said that other stars would be returning, too.
