Nia Jax plans to avenge herself.
In March 2024, “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley introduced a new move to her in-ring arsenal, much to the dismay of Nia Jax, at a series of WWE live events. The move in reference was a signature of Jax’s uncle and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi — the stink face.
During a recent appearance on Unlikely With Adrian Hernandez , Jax addressed Ripley’s usage of the stink face. In doing so, Jax also revealed her intention to pay Ripley back for it.
“Rhea is always trying to steal the spotlight,” Jax said. “She is always trying to one up me. And she went out there and gave a full stink face to me, which I was offended [by]. I can’t even believe that. And then Shayna being rude enough trying to take it from me as well. I feel the disrespect, and you know what? Rhea still has a stink face coming her way.”
As Jax alluded to, Ripley initially unleashed the stink face on her at a live event in Springfield, Illinois. The following night in Rockford, Ripley looked to deliver another stink face to Jax during their respective triple-threat match. Shayna Baszler, the third competitor in the bout, wanted a whiff of the stink face herself, though. Unfortunately for Baszler, Nia Jax struck Ripley before she could follow through, prompting Jax to then deliver a stink face of her own instead.
