Randy Orton won’t just appear on the October 8 episode of WWE NXT; he is set to compete on the show.
As previously announced, NXT’s second episode on The CW Network will emanate from The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri. The show was initially set to be held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
NXT General Manager Ava kicked off the September 17 episode of WWE NXT and announced that Randy Orton will compete on the October 8 episode. His opponent was not named. Ava also announced that Sexyy Red will return to NXT for the first time since NXT Battleground on October 8.
Update: Orton later suggested that he will be facing Je’Von Evans. In a tweet, he told the young NXT star he’d see him in St. Louis on October 8.
WWE then confirmed that Orton will officially face Evans on the October 8 episode of NXT.
