Kevin Nash Responds To Logan Paul, Says You’re Not A Top Five Guy If You Can’t Call It In The Ring

Kevin Nash responds to Logan Paul.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently said that Logan Paul was not one of the boys. Paul responded by saying that Nash was bitter. He said that he was better at Nash’s job than he ever was.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash responded to Logan Paul.

“If you watch it back, I didn’t say f*ck you. I said, ‘F*ck you for the boys.’ I guess I’m one of the boys, so yeah, I guess technically,” Kevin Nash said. “But I don’t have a dog in the race, man. I don’t have anything in the race. I love the fact that the boys are making that kind of money. It’s just that the rebuttal…I just took it in character when we talked about it and just did what you do, you just embellish a little bit because we’ll get a sound byte out of this.

“So this comes out, and I look at it, and I said, to tell you the truth, I really don’t know anything about him. I remembered the first time I heard his name, not gonna f*cking go there. He has more than paid his dues on that, he has apologized. That’s bulls**t. That would be a bitter old man that would kick somebody in the balls when they’re taking a shower and they got their eyes full of soap.”

Kevin Nash Praises Logan Paul

Nash continued by speaking highly of Paul’s athleticism and praising the things he did during his match against Roman Reigns.

“But the thing that I remember, the first time that I really noticed, I believe it was against Roman, and I think it was the Saudi match, and he was on the top rope, and he cut a promo with his own phone in his hand, and he filmed a dive,” Kevin Nash said. “I just thought, wow. There was different times after that that I wouldn’t watch him, and people would pop, and he would film the people, and he would put it on his social media.

“I said, that’s taking this whole thing to a different level. Nobody laid that out for that f*cking kid. I think his athleticism’s amazing. But I also, when I go someplace and somebody’s getting that kind of push and getting paid that kind of money, I ask some questions because I’m still one of the boys.”

Kevin Nash On Logan Paul Practicing

Nash then noted that he asked someone who had been in the ring with Logan Paul how he was, and they noted that he could not remember anything. He went on to bring up Paul practicing his matches.

“I asked a person that’s been in the ring with him, I said, ‘How is he?’ He says he’s amazing as far as what he can do physically. He said he just doesn’t remember anything,” Kevin Nash said. “I don’t know how much truth there is to this or not, but they’re brought a ring down and brought a couple of trainers or boys, and they go through his matches. Maybe he said he should get more depth of knowing the history. He’s smart as f*ck because Puerto Rico, I want to think there’s maybe like a four percent tax or some sh*t there.”

Kevin Nash On Calling It In The Ring

With that in mind, Kevin Nash stated that you were not a top guy if you could not call the match in the ring.

“You’re not a top five guy if you can’t..when I was 42 years old, if you can’t go out there and I’m sitting at home in the dressing room, drinking beer, and we got 12 minutes, and they give us the finish, and your music plays and mine plays, you’re not one of the top five guys if you don’t know what the f*ck we’re doing, if you can’t just go out there and call it,” he said. “He has to be reminded.”

Kevin Nash Didn’t Know Who Logan Paul Was

Kevin Nash was asked whether his feud with Logan Paul was over, and he said that he prayed that Paul did not get hurt. He expressed his hope that he would have a good run. He also stated that he did not initially know who Paul was.

“I pray that he doesn’t get hurt, I hope he has a good run,” he said. “I’m not gonna stop drinking PRIME [laughs]. I’m a 65-year-old f*cking dude, man. I don’t know what the f*ck vine is. I just look at it, he said he didn’t know me, I’m thinking, ‘Dude, I don’t even f*cking know you either.’ They had his net worth at $150 million, and I said, well, to take things into perspective, if I had $150 million, I’m not too sure I’d be super f*cking laser-focused.

“I think I’d just get my sh*t in and call it a day [laughs] because worst case scenario, they’re gonna tell you to take a hike, right? I’m in the Hall of Fame, I had a great run, I was blessed. He doesn’t know me and that’s fine.”

Kevin Nash On Logan Paul’s Response

Co-host Sean Oliver wondered whether Paul’s response was a worked promo, and Nash noted that he did not put that much thought into it.

“I watched it one time, I didn’t put that much thought into it,” he said. “I just thought that if somebody that I didn’t know cut a promo on me, last thing I’d do would [be to] react. He is an employee on team WWE, which is team Paul Levesque, and I think that him and his brother, they’re really good at what they do.”
