Sami Zayn said he wouldn’t be where he is without The Briscoes, and Mark Briscoe responded.
Zayn took to Twitter and shared his thoughts in response to a post that commented on how September 15 was the anniversary of the Ladder War between El Generico and Kevin Steen and The Briscoes. The WWE star called The Briscoes the best tag team of the last 25 years and one of the best of all time. He wrote that he would not be where he was without the duo. Zayn also wrote that he missed Jay and loved Mark.
Mark Briscoe responded by saying that some of the greatest memories of his life involved the four of them. He said that he loved Zayn.
Jay Briscoe tragically lost his life in a car accident in January 2023. Mark, his brother, remains featured with AEW/ROH, and he holds the ROH World Championship. He won the title by beating Eddie Kingston at ROH Supercard of Honor 2024.
