Jade Cargill Shares Why She Is Really Looking Forward To The 2025 Royal Rumble

Jade Cargill is currently focused on elevating the Women’s tag team division, but that’s not the only thing in her sights.

Cargill spoke with WrestleZone about her WWE run so far, and if she set any particular benchmarks for herself upon her arrival in WWE. Cargill said this was a year of learning, as she knew she had to prove herself in a new company.

However, Jade said she’s also got the 2025 Royal Rumble in her sights.

Jade Cargill on the benchmark she set for herself this year

“This year was just about learning and getting to know how things are done here at the WWE Universe. I didn’t put too much on myself this year,” Cargill explained. “Just because I was like, ‘Okay, well you’re coming into a new environment. You’ve got to keep your head down and do the work. And you have to learn how they do things here.’ And this was that year. Now, next year, ask me that question.

“I’m looking forward to the Royal Rumble coming up in January. That’s one thing I am really looking forward to,” she added. “But just elevating the Women’s Tag Team Division and right now changing the scope of things, getting the Tag Team titles on a PLE, [that’s my focus now].”

Why is the Royal Rumble important for Jade Cargill?

Jade Cargill signed with WWE in September 2023 and made her first on-air appearance on the WWE Fastlane pre-show in October. Jade finally made her in-ring debut in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, and she’s using the one-year anniversary as a reflection point.

“No, nothing really. It is just that I’m going out there and that’s where everybody [saw me debut]. That’s where my big debut happened,” Jade Cargill explained. “So, [it’s] just to see what I’ve learned and what I’ve developed in a year here at WWE. That’s it.”
