Christian Cage says Bryan Danielson‘s days as the AEW World Champion are numbered.
On the September 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage and The Patriarchy came to the ring. Cage noted that Nick Wayne told him the word on the street was that he had infinite aura. He said that he had been carrying AEW on his back, so that was undeniable.
Cage later noted that he thought about cashing in his title shot at AEW All Out, but it wasn’t the right time. He then told Danielson that getting suffocated by a plastic bag would be nothing compared to what he would do to him. Cage said that he would beat Danielson so badly that he’d wish his wife was the one who had CTE so that she would not be able to comprehend how what an embarrassment he was as the champion.
Finally, the former TNT Champion declared that he was the reigning, defending, undisputed, and next AEW World Champion.
By winning the Casino Gauntlet Match, Christian Cage earned a contract for a title shot. He is able to use it at any time he chooses.
