AEW continues to tease a rematch between Will Ospreay and Ricochet, as they had a heated confrontation at AEW All Out.
Ricochet debuted at AEW All In, where he competed in the Casino Gauntlet Match. He then beat Kyle Fletcher on the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW International Champion Will Ospreay briefly stared him down after the bell.
At AEW All Out, Ospreay beat PAC to retain the AEW International Championship, and Ricochet was shown watching the match backstage. In an interview after the bout, Ospreay called Ricochet out, and the newcomer responded by saying that he heard Ospreay talking trash. Ospreay said he was tired of Ricochet sitting in the back. He told him to start racking up some wins. Ricochet said he had a while, and he would see Ospreay soon.
Ospreay then said that Ricochet should get some wins and talk to Tony Khan, and Ricochet reiterated that he would see him soon.
