AEW All Out Results (9/7/24): Hangman Page vs. Swerve Strickland, Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Perry

On September 7, All Elite Wrestling presented a star-studded show with AEW All Out from NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Among other matches, “Hangman” Adam Page faced Swerve Strickland in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match. Plus, Bryan Danielson defended the AEW World Championship against Jack Perry.

The results are as follows:

AEW All Out: Zero Hour Pre-Show

Renee Paquette, RJ City, and Jeff Jarrett welcome viewers and preview the show. They run through the card and discuss the matches. Madison Rayne joins the panel and discusses the women’s division.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana are shown arriving as the panel discusses his upcoming match against “Hangman” Adam Page. Page is shown walking backstage as well. Nigel McGuinness joins the panel and discusses the match.

The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (with “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn) vs. Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) (with Jacked Jameson)

The Costco Guys are shown in the crowd ahesd of the match. Bowens gains the upper hand early on. The Acclaimed double-team Bronson and Boulder. They send Boulder to the outside with a dropkick. MxM Collection are shown watching backstage. Bronson and Boulder double-team Caster. Caster rallies, but Boulder takes control. Iron Savages double-team Caster. Caster fires up but eats a Bossman Slam.

Bronson dives onto Bowens at ringside. Boulder hits a moonsault. Bronson goes for a headbutt, but Caster moves. Bowens tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. The Acclaimed double-team Boulder. Boulder catches Bowens and slams both men. Bowens breaks up a pin attempt. Boulder tosses Bowens up, and Bronson crushes him with a senton. Billy Gunn drops Jacked Jameson at ringside. Caster slams Boulder. Bowens tags in, and The Acclaimed hit The Arrival/Mic Drop combination for the win.

Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara & Hologram vs. The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ari Daivari & Josh Woods) (with “Smart” Mark Sterling)

Guevara and Nese start the bout and feel each other out. Guevara showcases his athleticism and hits a corkdcew dropkick. The Premier Athletes gang up on him. Hologram rallies with a flurry of offense and takes the fight to all three of his opponents. JHologram catches Nese and slams him. Woods drills him with a knee strike. Premier Athletes take control again and ground Hologram.

Mark Sterling stomps Hologram at ringside. Rhodes rallies, and Guevara and Hologram dive onto their opponents at ringside. Rhodes gets slammed into the barricade. Woods dumps Hologram with a powerbomb. Nese and Woods double-team Rhodes. Rhodes rallies again, but Sterling distracts him. The match breaks down, but Rhodes catches Woods with a Crossrhodes. Sterling distracts the referee. Hologram and Guevara dump him over the ropes, and Rhodes hits him with a Crossrhodes. Rhodes slams Woods for the win.

Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) vs. Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds)

Austin Gunn and Alex Reynolds start the bout, and Austin gains the upper hand. The Bang Bang Gang maintains the advantage and poses. Dark Order rallies and gangs up on Juice Robinson. They strike a pose, and Uno and Reynolds double-team Robinson. Juice fires up with some strikes, and he fights off a triple-team attempt. Juice rocks Uno with a stiff shot and hits a cannonball on Dark Order in the corner.

Austin tags in and keeps rolling with a flurry of his own. He drops Reynolds, but Uno slams him. Reynolds hits a diving stomp. Dark Order continues to control the action. Colten Gunn rallies. Robinson tags in and clotheslines Silver. Everyone is down after a double clothesline. Silver lights Austin up with some kicks. Juice unloads on Uno with a series of strikes. He slams Uno for the win.

The Costco Guys join the panel, and Big Justice teases getting involved in wrestling at some point.

Skye Blue comes out on crutches and addresses the crowd. She recalls her first time competing at AEW All Out three years ago. Blue comments on her injury and says she’s trying to get back as fast as she can, but it’s just a waiting game.

AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May interrupts and says she was there to have her AEW Women’s World Championship celebration, but she would not be doing it in Chicago. She insults the crowd, and Blue calls her a skank. May says she needs glamour. She kicks Blue’s crutch out from underneath her and attacks her. Queen Aminata makes the save.

Trios Action At AEW All Out: Zero Hour

Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty) & The Beast Mortos vs. Action Andretti and Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) (with Leila Grey)

Taylor rocks Bennett with a stiff shot. Andretti dropkicks Bennett. Taylor throws Andretti and controls the action. Andretti fights back with some strikes. He catches Moriarty with a jaw-breaker. Darius tags in, and Top Flight gains the upper hand. Moriarty takes Strong down with an armdrag, but Strong catches him with a backbreaker. Mortos clears house with a flurry of offense and throws Strong onto Taven and Bennett. He crushes Strong with a pop-up Samoan drop.

Dante Martin spins Mortos and catches him with a dropkick. Taven and Dante go back and forth. Bennett distracts Darius, and Taven attacks him from behind. Undisputed Kingdom gang up on Dante. They isolate him, and Taylor tags in. He crushes Dante with a splash. Taylor nails Taven with a stiff shot. He hits Dante with a flurry of strikes. Top Flight rallies. Taven catches Taylor with a springboard kick. He dives onto Taylor and Moriarty at ringside. Mortos hits a corkscrew dive to the outside. Top Flight hits stereo dives to the outside.

Andretti hits a running Shooting Star Press on Taylor. Bodies are flying as the match breaks down. Mortos takes Andretti down with a Spear. Strong hits Andretti with a knee for the win.

Winners: Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)

Strong does some victory laps around the ring alongside Taven and Bennett, and Strong calls out FTW Champion HOOK.

The panel discusses the card one more time as the pre-show comes to an end.

AEW All Out: Main Card Results

MJF vs. Daniel Garcia

MJF gets a special entrance with a different theme and a video package recapping his feud with Daniel Garcia. Garcia, whose head is wrapped due to MJF’s attack on AEW Dynamite, attacks MJF during his entrance. He controls the action early on. MJF avoids a piledriver and hits a neckbreaker. He grounds Garcia. MJF drops Garcia with a DDT. Garcia counters a suplex, and both men go crashing over the ropes and down to the floor. Garcia narrowly avoids getting counted out. Garcia levels MJF with a lariat. He hits some suplexes and a neckbreaker. MJF drops Garcia with a backbreaker.

MJF bites Garcia and rips his bandage off. Garcia is busted open, and MJF targets the wound. MJF goes for a Tombstone off the second rope, but Garcia fights his way out of it. He hits a diving DDT, and both men are down. MJF answers with a Destroyer for a two-count. Garcia fires up with some strikes, but MJF thumbs him in the eye. They trade pin attempts. MJF drills Garcia with a shot to the face.

Garcia rolls through a German suplex and hits one of his own. He levels MJF with a clothesline. MJF locks in a Boston crab, but Garcia transitions into the LeBell Lock. MJF escapes and locks in a crossface. Garcia traps MJF in a Sharpshooter and wrenches it, but MJF counters into an arm-bar. MJF transitions, but Garcia reaches the ropes. Garcia lights MJF up with some strikes and chokes him in a guillotine. He drops MJF with a piledriver for a two-count. MJF hits Garcia below the belt after distracting the referee and pins him with a jackknife for the win.

Winner: MJF

Garcia is clearly frustrated after the match. MJF offers him a handshake, and Garcia accepts it. MJF goes to attack Garcia, but he sees it coming. Garcia hits him below the belt and hits an avalanche piledriver. Garcia mocks MJF by kissing his forehead, and he leaves through the crowd. Medical officials check on MJF and put a neckbrace on him.

The Young Bucks Defend The Gold

AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta

Nicholas Jackson and Wheeler Yuta start the bout and feel each other out. Yuta gains an early advantage. Castagnoli and Yuta double-team Matthew Jackson. They maintain the advantage. The Young Bucks take control with some double-team offense. Nicholas grounds Yuta. The Bucks double-team Yuta and gain more momentum. Nicholas drops Yuta with a heel kick. Yuta ducks a clothesline and gains some breathing room. Castagnoli rallies with some strikes

Castagnoli drills the Bucks with a series of uppercuts. He keeps rolling with some more uppercuts. Yuta and Castagnoli continue to control the action. Nicholas dishes out a superkick, but Yuta drills him with one. Nicholas breaks up Yuta’s Cattle Mutilation. He takes Castagnoli down with a hurricanrana at ringside. The Young Bucks double-team Yuta. They isolate Yuta, but Castagnoli breaks up a double-team move. Castagnoli drops Matthew with an uppercut.

The Young Bucks hit Castagnoli with the EVP Trigger, but Yuta breaks up the pin. Castagnoli counters the EVP Trigger and slams both Bucks. Yuta dives onto Nicholas at ringside. Castagnoli swings Matthew 20 times. Matthew takes Castagnoli down with a superkick. Castagnoli fires back with an uppercut. He hits a superplex, but Matthew counters the Fastball Special and pins Yuta.

Will Ospreay Battles PAC At AEW All Out

AEW International Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. PAC

PAC leaves the ring right after the bell rings. He gets back in and squares off with PAC. They go back and forth, and they’re evenly matched. The two competitors have each other well-scouted. PAC dives onto Ispreay at ringside. Ospreay catches him with a dropkick and dives onto him. Ricochet is shown watching backstage. Ospreay and PAC slap each other. They trade blows.

PAC slams Ospreay into the barricade twice. Back in the ring, PAC drops Ospreay with a brainbuster. He continues to ground the champion. The match heads to the outside, where Ospreay rallies with an elbow strike. Ospreay dives onto PAC at ringside. Ospreay drops PAC with an acrobatic kick. PAC spikes Ospreay with a DDT and hits a powerbomb.

Ospreay hits a standing Spanish Fly for a two-count. PAC counters the Os-cutter. He drills Ospreay with a kick. Ospreay counters and lands on his feet before he hits an Os-cutter for a two-count. Ospreay nails PAC with a kick and goes for an Os-cutter on the apron, but PAC counters and dumps him with a German suplex. He spikes Ospeay with a Poison-rana on the apron. PAC locks in the Brutalizer, but Ospreay persevered. He goes for the Black Arrow, but Ospreay gets the knees up. Ospreay rolls through a German suplex.PAC spikes Ospreay with a hurricanrana.

PAC hits another Poison-rana and locks on the Brutalizer again, but Ospreay escapes. Ospreay hits the Hidden Blade for a near fall. Ospreay flips out of a hurricanrana and hits a Hidden Blade for another near fall. He hits an Os-cutter, but PAC counters the Stormbreaker. Ospreay hits a Styles Clash and the Hidden Blade to clinch the win.

Kris Statlander Takes On Willow Nightingale

Chicago Street Fight: Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander (with Stokely Hathaway)

Hathaway gives Statlander a chair. Willow catches Statlander with a Pounce and powerbombs her into the corner. She hits a cannonball. Statlander hits Nightingale with a chair and powerbombs her through the broadcast table. Statlander puts Nightingale on a table and goes to dive through it, but Nightingale moves, sending Statlander through the table. Nightingale sends Statlander through the barricade with a Pounce. Statlander claims Nightingale on the stage.

Hathaway gets a garbage can full of weapons. Statlander suplexes Nightingale onto the stage. Nightingale smashes Statlander with some light tubes. Statlander sends Nightingale off the stage and through a table with a Spear. Back in the ring, they trade shots, and Statlander has been busted open. Statlander slams Nightingale, but Willow responds with a slam of her own. Statlander drops Nightingale with a German suplex. Statlander dumps some thumbtacks and goes for a kick, but Nightingale moves, so she lands on the tacks. Nightingale hits a Death Valley Driver onto the tacks. Statlander responds with a Spanish Fly onto some tacks.

Statlander hits Nightingale with a discus lariat with a chain wrapped around her. She puts a cuff around Nightingale’s wrist, but Willow drops her with a spinebuster. They trade blows, and Statlander hits a Tombstone. She wraps a chain around Willow’s face and makes her tap out.

Winner: Kris Statlander

Hathaway celebrates with Statlander after the match, and officials check on Nightingale.

Backstage, Will Ospreay is asked about his match with PAC. Ospreay praises PAC and says he’s welcome to a rematch. Ospreay calls out Ricochet and tells him to start racking up some wins. Ricochet says he’ll see him soon.

Kazuchika Okada Defends In Four-Way Action

AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Konosuke Takeshita

The four competitors start brawling right away. Okada and Takeshita stare each other down. Cassidy takes both men down and dives onto Takeshita. He drops Okada with a DDT. Briscoe takes control as he battles Takeshita. They trade chops. Cassidy and Briscoe dive onto Okada and Takeshita at ringside. Briscoe suplexes Takeshita. The competitors dish out suplexes. Briscoe drops Takeshita with a suplex. The competitors continue trading suplexes. Cassidy hits Stun-dog Millionaire.

Takeshita dives onto Okada and Cassidy, but Briscoe dives onto him. Cassidy and Briscoe trade blows. Takeshita and Okada suplex them. Okada and Takeshita trade blows. Takeshita hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count. He drops Cassidy with a superplex, but Briscoe hits Froggy Bow. Okada takes control, but Takeshita drops him with a big boot. Cassidy hits Okada with the Orange Punch.

Briscoe drops Takeshita with the Jay Driller, but Okada breaks it up. Takeshita counters the Froggy Bow. Okada drills Briscoe with a stiff shot, but Cassidy breaks it up. Cassidy hits the Beach Break. Takeshita nails him with a forearm and a lariat. Okada hits Briscoe with the Rainmaker. Cassidy rolls Okada up for a two-count. Okada counters the Orange Punch into the Rainmaker for the win.

Mercedes Moné Defends The Gold

TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Hikaru Shida

Moné takes the fight to Shida early on and targets her knee. Shida hits some dropkicks and gains the upper hand. She wrenches the champion’s leg. Shida continues to control the action. Moné rallies and grounds Shida. She hits double knees in the corner and maintains the advantage. Shida rallies, but Mercedes takes control again. Shida sends her into the corner and hits a dropkick. Mercedes traps Shida in a crossface, but Shida escapes. They keep battling. Moné hits a sunset flip powerbomb into the corner and double knees.

The champion hits three suplexes in a tribute to Eddie Guerrero. Shida responds with a Falcon Arrow. Moné counters the Katana and hits a knee-breaker. Shida gets a two-count with a knee strike. Shida nails Moné with a stiff shot to the face. Mercedes rolls to the outside. Shida stops her from getting the kendo stick. Shida teases hitting Mercedes but decides not to. Shida counters one Moné Maker, but Mercedes hits a second attempt for the won.

A video package hypes up the world title match. Jack Perry drives his Scapegoat bus into the parking lot and meets the Young Bucks. They walk with him as he makes his entrance along with a SWAT team.

Bryan Danielson Defends AEW World Title

AEW World Championship: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jack Perry

Danielson enters to “The Final Countdown”. Perry and Danielson feel each other out early on. Danielson gains an early advantage, and Perry heads to the outside. Perry gets back in the ring, and they continue to battle for positioning. Danielson again takes control and grounds Perry. He dives onto Perry at ringside. Perry rocks him with a superkick and drops him with a DDT on the floor.

Perry slams Danielson into the barricade and continues to control the action. They trade chops. Perry drives Danielson into the corner. Danielson rallies and hits a back superplex that leaves both men down. He keeps rolling with some kicks. Danielson traps Perry in the LeBell Lock, but Perry escapes.

Perry catches Danielson and locks in the Cattle Mutilation. He drops Danielson with a Tiger Suplex. Danielson and Perry battle on the apron. Danielson suplexes from the apron and down to the floor. He hits Perry with some kicks. Perry puts Danielson in the Snare Trap, but he reaches the ropes. Danielson cradles Perry for a two-count and rocks him with a kick. Perry pulls the referee in his way when Danielson goes for a knee strike, so the referee is down. The Young Bucks attack Danielson, and they hit the TK Driver. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta make the save and chase them off.

Perry hits a knee strike for a two-count. He stomps Danielson and mockingly does a “Yes!” chant. Danielson catches him with a running knee. Perry and Danielson trade blows. Danielson fires up and evades a knee strike. He hits a running knee for a near fall. Danielson stomps Perry’s head several times. He hits a final running knee strike for the win.

Killswitch attacks Danielson after the match. Christian Cage comes out with his contract for a world title shot, but Jon Moxley gets in his face. Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC join Moxley, and Christian Cage retreats. The Blackpool Combat Club briefly celebrates, but Castagnoli turns on Moxley. Moxley pulls out a plastic bag, puts it over Danielson’s head and suffocates him.

PAC holds Yuta back while Moxley continues to hold the bag over Danielson’s head. Castagnoli, Moxley, and PAC, along with Marina Shafir, stand tall and leave. Doctors check on Danielson and get him some oxygen. Officials help Danielson to the back.

Swerve Strickland Faces Hangman Page

Lights Out Steel Cage Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland

Strickland rocks Page with a kick sending him out of the ring, and they brawl at ringside. Prince Nana throws some weapons into the cage before it comes down. The cage lowers completely, and Strickland and Page keep brawling. Strickland catches Page with a Flatliner and a House Call. Page pulls out a staple gun and staples Swerve. Strickland takes the staple gun and staples Page.

Strickland pulls the staples out of his chest. He staples pictures of his family to Page’s chest and face. Swerve slams Page into the cage wall. Page crotches Strickland on the ropes, clotheslines him, and slams him into the cage wall. He sends Strickland into the cage. Strickland rallies with a clothesline, but Page sends him into the cage. Strickland is busted open, and Page targets the wound. He grinds Strickland’s face against the cage wall. Page sends Strickland into the wall with a flapjack. Page hits Strickland on the back with a chair. The referee gets in the way, and Swerve rocks Page with a House Call. Strickland drops him with a Buckshot Lariat.

Strickland hits Page with a chair three times and sends him head-first into a chair in the corner. They trade counters, and Strickland slams Page onto a cinderblock with a Vertebreaker. Swerve sets up a table and hits the Swerve Stomp through a table. Page rallies with a Deadeye. He brings out a burnt splinter from Strickland’s home and goes to gouge him with it. Strickland fights him off and gouges Page with it. Page hits Strickland below the belt and powerbombs him onto a cinderblock. Strickland slammed Page into the cage wall and hit the House Call for a two-count.

Strickland tries to climb to the top of the cage, but Page stops him and powerbombs him to the mat. He hits a Deadeye for a two-count. Page hits Strickland with a chair and tells him to beg for mercy, but Strickland laughs at him. Page ripped Strickland’s grill out of his mouth and injected a needle into his cheek. He bashed a chair over Strickland’s head, and the chair broke. The referee called for the bell, and Page was declared the winner by knockout.
