What in the world is AEW: Shockwave?
With a new media rights deal looming between All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery, the company filed a trademark yesterday for AEW: Shockwave.
According to the USPTO filing, AEW: Shockwave has the following description:
“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.”
While nothing has been confirmed, it sounds like this could be the name of an upcoming pay-per-view or even a new show.
WrestleZone will have more information on this trademark as it becomes available.
