Matt Hardy: The Hardys Are Happy With TNA, There Has Been Some Ongoing Talk With WWE

Matt Hardy says The Hardys are happy with TNA, and they are set to continue there. However, there has been some ongoing conversation with WWE.

Previously, Matt Hardy confirmed that The Hardys filmed content for WWE over SummerSlam weekend.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy was asked about The Hardys potentially going back to AEW if they don’t reach an agreement with WWE to end their careers there. He stated that they were very happy in TNA. He also said that he would never say never to a WWE return.

“We’re both very, very happy, we’re extremely happy with how TNA is going right now, and we’re going to be continuing this for a while,” Matt Hardy said. “We just actually talked about some creative stuff going through the end of this year, so that’s very exciting. We dig what we have. But as far as going to WWE or going to AEW, it’s a never-say-never scenario in my world. In the extreme life of Matt Hardy, it is a never-say-never.”

Hardy reiterated that he had a never-say-never mindset regarding a return to AEW. He also stated that there had been some ongoing talk with WWE. Hardy noted that anything could happen.

“You never rule anything out, you never close any doors on anything,” Hardy said. “You just do your best, you keep your chin up, and you keep moving forward, and you try to speak as honestly and as transparently as possible.

“So it’s one of those things, if we ended up back at AEW to do something, yeah, we wouldn’t be opposed to that, especially if it was something that sounded really good, that we were very intrigued by. Once again, with WWE, there has still been some ongoing conversation with WWE, so yeah, anything can happen in the extreme life of Matt Hardy.”
