WWE NXT Viewership Increases On 9/3, Demo Also Rises

WWE NXT saw an increase in viewership on September 3.

According to Wrestlenomics, 631,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday night, and NXT drew a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 615,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.15 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE NXT this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Trick Williams coming to the ring and calling out Pete Dunne for their match. Ethan Page comes out instead. Dunne tries to attack Williams from behind and they brawl until security breaks it up.

The Rascalz defeated Hank & Tank and Gallus to become the number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles. The match will take place on next week’s show.

Trick Williams and Pete Dunne wrestle to a double countout. They will face each other again next week in a Last Man Standing match to determine the number one contender for Ethan Page’s title.

At the close of the show, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez came to the ring and called out the locker room. Chelsea Green answered first, before Giulia came out and laid Green out. Giulia informed Perez she would face her on NXT’s CW debut.
