Kazuchika Okada will defend the gold at AEW All Out.
On the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada defended the AEW Continental Championship. During the match, the broadcast team announced that the title would be defended in a four-way match at the pay-per-view on September 7. Okada ultimately emerged victorious with the Rainmaker.
AEW announced that qualifying matches would be held on the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. Orange Cassidy will face Bryan Keith, Konosuke Takeshita will battle The Beast Mortos, and Mark Briscoe will take on Lance Archer. The winners will join Okada in the title match at AEW All Out.
Okada previously won the title by beating Eddie Kingston on the March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. He recently retained the gold on the August 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, where his title match against Claudio Castagnoli ended in a time-limit draw.
