Report: Odyssey Jones Removed From WWE TV Following Domestic Violence Allegations

More details about Odyssey Jones’ absence have come to light.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE television when domestic violence allegations “came to light.” Per Sapp, there is no word on an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation.

The report notes that Fightful has reached out to WWE for comment and clarification on his status. Sapp also writes that talent had not been informed about the situation.

Sapp previously reported that Jones’ status had changed with the company, but details were unclear. Jones was absent from RAW on September 2 and the week before as well. Sapp also wrote that Jones was not in “immediate creative plans.

Jones had been in a storyline with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, but it has seemingly been dropped. He was not mentioned whatsoever on the September 2 episode of WWE RAW.

Odyssey Jones had been drafted to WWE RAW in both 2023 and 2024. However, he did not debut until the August 5 episode of WWE RAW and aligned with the New Day. After his debut, Triple H called him a game-changer. In his brief run on WWE RAW, he consistently appeared on the show. Jones last wrestled on the August 19 episode of WWE RAW, where he and the New Day best the Final Testament.

Jones previously signed with WWE in 2019. He is a former college football player, as he played for Syracuse University.

WrestleZone will provide more information about Odyssey Jones’ status as it becomes available.
