Report: WWE Lead Production Designer Leaving The Company

WWE is losing a key player behind the scenes.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Jason Robinson, the company’s longtime lead Production Designer, is leaving. Per Johnson, sources say that Robinson is either finishing up this week, or he had wrapped up as of the Bash in Berlin premium live event.

The report notes that Robinson was highly thought of, and he had been viewed as incredibly talented. He started out with creating and designing sets before he shifted into the television side. Robinson had been with WWE for over two decades, and he worked on most of the company’s events and television.

Johnson writes that many people were shocked by the departure, as he was said to be quite important in designing the “look and feel” of WWE broadcasts. His exit was seen as the end of an era in some ways.
