Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have commented on regaining the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The pair took their titles back from Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn at Bash in Berlin. In the Bash in Berlin post-show press conference, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were asked how it felt, and how they would make their second reign different to their first.
Bianca Belair started, stating that she wanted to elevate the division going forward.
“Whew! It was great. I feel like we were on a roll with the first reign, and we were super confident. Then we had the triple threat, and it was taken off of us. But I think that’s the best thing that could’ve happened. I think that loss made us much stronger—mentally and physically. I feel like our bond is stronger. Tonight we solidified ourselves as a true tag team, and I feel like we did that. I’m ready to finish what we started and keep elevating this tag team division.”
“When you win a title, a lot of people say, ‘I’m putting the whole division on notice right now,’ but I feel like we are on notice. They’re not going away. I know the whole tag team division is coming after us because taking down Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill is something everyone wants to do. But I’m excited to elevate this division and continue to move forward with this.”
Jade Cargill then added that they want to do something that nobody else has done before in the tag team division.
“I’ll piggyback on what she said because she said a lot. We’re not here to put anybody on notice—we’re here to do things that have never been done in the tag team division.”
Bianca Belair Wants To Make Magic With Jade Cargill
Biance Belair and Jade Cargill were then asked about how she manages to share the spotlight with each other.
Jade Cargill said it was easy, before Bianca Belair added that they wanted to “make that magic” in the ring together.
“We just want to be great for the tag team division, and that’s where we’re focused. So, I want everyone to lean into this tag team and see that we are a force to be reckoned with. You have Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill on the same team, and it’s just magic waiting to be made. So, let’s make that magic right now. That’s what we’re trying to do.”
