Mariah May will defend the gold on AEW Dynamite.
AEW announced that AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May will defend the title against former champion Nyla Rose on the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite.
May won the title by defeating Toni Storm at AEW All In. Her match against Rose will mark May’s first title defense.
Plus, AEW International Champion Will Ospreay and PAC will clash in trios action ahead of their title match at AEW All Out. Ospreay, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly will face AEW World Trios Champions PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta on Wednesday. PAC issued the challenge for the match Saturday on AEW Collision.
As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for the show.
