It was next man up for First Class at TNA Emergence.
AJ Francis and Rich Swann had been on a successful run as First Class, and they recently set their sights on TNA World Tag Team Champions ABC. However, Swann recently entered rehab following a second disorderly intoxication arrest, and he was suspended by TNA.
At TNA Emergence, AJ Francis was asked to comment on who would replace Swann as his partner at the show. He highlighted his previous career in the NFL and noted that it was “next man up.” Francis then introduced Navarro as his partner for their match against ABC later in the show.
