Carmelo Hayes says he is at the front of the line in terms of people who want to face John Cena during his farewell tour.
16-time world champion John Cena will go on a farewell tour in 2025. Many stars have already expressed their interest in facing him.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Carmelo Hayes was asked to comment on what he wanted to get done in the next year. He called out John Cena and said that he wanted to face him.
“I mean, I don’t really want to predict. But I will call out somebody just because I feel like this is the perfect time to do it,” Carmelo Hayes said. “I think, I talked about it earlier today, but John Cena, he’s on his retirement tour. He put out the message and said, ‘You want some, some, come get some.’ To be honest, I’m at the front of the line of people that are gonna come get some. So John, just letting you, just giving you the heads up, your time is up, and my time is now.”
In recent weeks, Hayes has been feuding with Andrade on WWE SmackDown.
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on August 30.
