Jon Moxley is officially back.
The former AEW World Champion made his long-awaited return to the All Elite Wrestling ring during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Moxley said he was there to have a “long overdue” conversation with Darby Allin. He stated that Allin was nothing like him, but also “everything” like him. Moxley said it was about time he and Allin had a “talk,” but didn’t expand on what exactly that talk would be about.
Moxley also sent a strange and abrupt message to Tony Schiavone, telling him that he needs to understand that this is not his company anymore.
Later in the show, Moxley aligned with Marina Shafir, who attacked some security guards backstage.
Prior to Wednesday, Moxley hadn’t been seen on AEW programming since June’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, when he lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Tetsuya Naito.
