Jacob Fatu is no longer wearing a walking boot.
In a post on Instagram, Jacob Fatu can be seen accompanying Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the ring at the WWE live event on August 27. In the clip, Fatu is not wearing a walking boot. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa then beat A-Town Down Under to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Fatu has not wrestled since the August 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Tama Tonga beat #DIY to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Fatu suffered an apparent injury at WWE SummerSlam, where he put Cody Rhodes through a broadcast table with a splash. He was then seen wearing a walking boot.
Jacob Fatu was briefly kept off television, but he returned and attacked Roman Reigns. He had been wearing a walking boot, but he continued to get physical. On the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, he was promoted to Solo Sikoa’s enforcer, and his title was handed to Tonga Loa.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Jacob Fatu will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
