Alicia Fox will co-lead a workshop that will help talent with brand development.
Next month, independent professional wrestlers will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge on brand development through a two-day virtual workshop led by Bambi Weavil and former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox (real name Victoria Crawford). The workshop, titled The Masters Of The Ring Accelerator, will begin on September 9 and end on September 10.
“We’re excited to bring the first virtual event of its kind to pro wrestling to help strengthen the community of independent pro wrestling,” said Weavil in a press release obtained by WrestleZone. “Our goal is to help pro wrestlers learn more about developing their personal brand to achieve more booking opportunities and advance their careers through the Masters Of The Ring Accelerator.”
Weavil notably serves as the founder and President of Marketing & PR for Masters Of Ring Entertainment, which aims to support and honor the pro wrestling community through special events. In addition to her work with Masters Of Ring Entertainment, Weavil’s background boasts experience in marketing sales, event production, managing talent, fan relations, and pro wrestling promoting.
Alicia Fox is best known for her stint in WWE, which spanned 17 years (2006-2023). At the Masters Of The Ring Accelerator, Fox will share insight into her WWE career as well as her recent activity on the independent wrestling scene.
Workshop Outline
“In today’s rapidly evolving wrestling landscape, where independent promotions and digital platforms have become more prominent, developing a strong personal brand and effective social media presence is crucial. The virtual workshop offers timely support for pro wrestlers navigating these changes, providing them with relevant tools and strategies to stand out in a competitive environment,” read the press release.
Day one of the workshop will center on how to build one’s personal brand while also utilizing social media to engage fans and bring forth more potential professional opportunities. Day two will focus on setting goals and developing a supportive network that can assist in the professional growth of the participants.
The Masters Of The Ring Accelerator is free to attend, but potential participants must first undergo an interview process to secure their place. More information on the event, including the form to request an invitation, available at mastersoftheringaccelerator.com.
