AEW continues to load up the card for the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan announced that former AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page would face Tomohiro Ishii on Wednesday.
Khan also announced that AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May will hold a championship celebration on the show. May beat Toni Storm to win the title at AEW All In.
Additionally, fans will hear from Swerve Strickland for the first time since Bryan Danielson beat him to win the AEW World Championship at AEW All In.
Plus, Khan announced an All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match for the show. Chris Jericho, Big Bill, Bryan Keith, and Roderick Strong will face HOOK, Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly.
