The new WWE SmackDown commentary team has been announced.
As confirmed during Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Corey Graves and Michael Cole will be taking over WWE SmackDown commentary duties beginning on September 13, 2024, when the show officially moves to USA Network. The move comes as Pat McAfee is ready to take a leave from the company and his commentary obligations alongside his return to ESPN’s College GameDay.
Cole and Graves have worked together previously on a variety of WWE broadcasts. As for WWE RAW, Joe Tessitore is set to join the commentary team beginning on September 2, 2024. Pat McAfee is slated to return to WWE in January 2025, when WWE RAW also makes its move to Netflix. It’s unclear whether Cole will also return to RAW with McAfee.
