Sid had a legendary wrestling career, dating back to his debut in 1987. He had a memorable run on WCW as The Skyscrapers with Danny Spivey before he joined The Four Horsemen. He later signed with WWF in 1991 and had a prominent run there; he faced Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania VIII.
Sid later returned to WCW but came back to WWF in 1995. In this run, he won the WWF Championship. He went on to return to have a brief run in ECW before returning to WCW in 1999. Sid continued to wrestle after he recovered from a severe leg injury, and he retired in 2017. He made sporadic appearances over the years, including two episodes of WWE RAW in 2012.
Among other accolades, Sid was a former two-time WWF Champion and two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
On behalf of WrestleZone, we send our condolences to Sid’s family, friends, and fans.
