Bryan Danielson isn’t ruling out a WWE return at some point, but it would have to be under the right circumstances.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Bryan Danielson was a recent guest on Gorilla Position. When asked if he would ever return to WWE, Danielson said it would have to be a case where it was better for the industry as a whole.
“I would never say never, but it would have to be — if I would, it would have to be in a case where I felt like going there was better for the industry,” Bryan Danielson said. “So, for example, imagine in 10 years, all of a sudden something happened to their creative process, and they are just horrible, and AEW has completely taken over, and it’s become a one-sided business on the other side. And yeah, then maybe I would consider it. But I love where I’m at now, and I’m also not under contract. Realistically, I think I just want to be free.”
When asked if an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame would be enough to bring him back, Danielson was much more blunt in his response.
“I mean, I have no interest in outside accolations,” Bryan Danielson said. “None whatsoever.”
