A promotion for Jacob Fatu meant a change for the WWE Tag Team Championship on WWE SmackDown.
Solo Sikoa promoted Jacob Fatu to his personal enforcer on the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown. Alongside this move, he told Fatu to give his WWE Tag Team Championship to Tonga Loa. The order came moments before The Bloodline were set to defend their titles against The Street Profits.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa subsequently retained their titles by defeating The Street Profits. When they attacked the Street Profits after the bell, #DIY made the save, but The Bloodline overwhelmed them.
