Jacob Fatu Returns, The Bloodline Attacks Roman Reigns On WWE SmackDown

The Bloodline left Roman Reigns lying on WWE SmackDown.

Roman Reigns returned at WWE SummerSlam and cost Solo Sikoa his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The following week, Reigns took the fight to The Bloodline and viciously attacked Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, though Sikoa escaped.

Sikoa called out Roman Reigns on the August 16 episode of WWE SmackDown and told him to acknowledge him. The Bloodline was apparently not at full strength, as Tonga Loa was absent. Reigns came out and brawled with Sikoa. Tama Tonga got involved, but Reigns overpowered him. Reigns then dropped Sikoa with a Spear and briefly regained possession of the prized Ula Fala, his tribal necklace.

However, the returning Jacob Fatu, who had a boot on his foot, blindsided Roman Reigns and gained the upper hand. The Bloodline then ganged up on Reigns and slammed him throughout the commentary table. The Bloodline then stood tall as the show came to an end.

Jacob Fatu, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, since he suffered an apparent injury at WWE SummerSlam. However, he was reportedly kept away for the initial stretch of Reigns’ return.

Now that Fatu is back, the new Bloodline is as dangerous as ever, and it’s clear that Roman Reigns may need some allies.
