Satoshi Kojima To Defend The MLW Championship At CWE Devastación VIII On 8/31

Satoshi Kojima is heading to Costa Rica to defend the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

Major League Wrestling announced today in a press release that MLW World Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima of New Japan Pro-Wrestling will defend his title at CWE Devastación VIII on August 31 against Ares.

This is the first time that the MLW World Heavyweight Championship will be defended in Central America.

Satoshi Kojima captured the MLW World Heavyweight Championship back in February at MLW Superfight when he defeated Alex Kane to capture the title for the second time. His first reign with the title came all the way back in 2002. Kojima is the first-ever talent to hold this championship twice.

Two days before this title defense, Kojima will be in New York City at Summer of the Beasts to defend the MLW World Tag Team Titles against Contra Unit.
