Nic Nemeth will defend the gold at TNA Emergence.
On the August 15 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Nic Nemeth defended the TNA World Championship in the main event against Josh Alexander. The two stars gave everything they had, but neither of them was able to get the win. In the end, the match concluded without a decisive winner. The two stars went the distance, and the match ended in a 30-minute Time Limit draw. Now, the two will clash at TNA Emergence in a 60-minute Iron Man match.
Nic Nemeth On Josh Alexander
In a digital exclusive, Nic Nemeth sent a message to Josh Alexander following their match.
“TNA, I want you all to know something,” he said. “Everything I have said so far, I meant every single word. I said I wanted to be the flag bearer for the company. And it’s just starting. I said I wanted to the World Champion for this company, it happened. I said I wanted to the be the ambassador to professional f’ing wrestling. We are going. Josh Alexander I had so much respect for you. Look me in the eyes when I say, I thought you were one of the greatest wrestlers in the world today. And I mean it. But now, now I know what Wrestling means to you.
“Wrestling means doing everything you can. And then… And then what? Fight or flight. Do you take off, do you take what’s yours, do you go for the moment, do you live in the moment? Do you fight for everyone out there, in the back, do you fight for the roster? You fight for everyone that’s come before you?”
Nic Nemeth: I Am The Best
Nemeth continued bu saying that he was the best. He looked forward to facing Alexander in an Iron Man match.
“Everyone in the seats who paid money to see the best,” he said. “You wanted the best? Look at me you piece of s***. I am the best. Josh Alexander you say you go an hour. I do that on the weekends in my sleep. I’m breathing heavy because of emotion. I don’t get tired, I don’t take days off, I don’t miss work, I don’t get hurt, I don’t stop, I don’t sleep, I don’t eat. I just live this f****** business. You want to go an hour?
“You want to go all night and see if you can hang? I don’t think you got it in you. The old Josh Alexander can go. He can do an hour standing on his head, walk out of there, and do it again. But you are looking at the best in the business. This title means everything to me. It means everything of the last 20 years of saying I deserve it. This time you deserve it, an a** whooping by me. One hour? You got it, if you have the balls.”
