Ridge Holland is finally a champion in WWE, as he and Andre Chase won the gold on the August 13 episode of NXT.
Holland, who signed with WWE in 2018, won a title for the first time on Tuesday when he and Andre Chase dethroned NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Holland and Chase were representing Chase U, and they won the titles for a second time for the school. A clothesline and an emphatic slam from Holland to Axiom clinched the win.
Axiom and Frazer had been champions for 127 days. They won the gold when they beat Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker on the April 9 episode of NXT. They had just defended the titles against Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz on the August 6 episode of NXT.
