WWE is loading up the card for the August 20 episode of WWE NXT.
During the August 13 episode, Ava announced that Joe Hendry would face Pete Dunne and Wes Lee in a Number One Contender’s Match. The winner of the bout will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at NXT No Mercy.
Elsewhere on the August 13 episode of WWE NXT, Ava said that there would be a No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator on the August 20 episode. She also stated that the match would include women who had not yet had a title match, and the winner would challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT No Mercy.
The participants were chosen at random. Wren Sinclair, Adriana Rizzo, and Sol Ruca were the first three women selected. Later in the show, Jaida Parker, Kendal Grey, and Karmen Petrovic were then revealed as the final three participants.
Plus, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will face Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Additionally, Lola Vice will face Wendy Choo after Choo attacked NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan on the August 13 episode of WWE NXT.
